We Fly Away

The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Psalms 90:10

Fourscore = 80 years. Israel will be 80 May 14th, 2028. Will Israel be “cut off” and “we fly away”?

Generations of Adam – Addendum

At the Last Trump

Now that Trump has taken office, what does that mean for our nation, for the world? The president has certainly made a slew of changes since taking office and is determined to turn our country around while possibly exposing much of the evil that has been done in our nation and perhaps around the world. However, evil will not turn over and flee but rather, it is here to stay until the feet of Jesus stand in that day upon the mount of Olives (Zech. 14:4).

It is highly unlikely we will see the Gog & Magog war unfold while Trump is in office, plus there are still more prophetic battles to take place before that major war commences in the future.

PM Netanyahu recently stated, “During my recent visit to Washington, I said that Donald Trump is the greatest friend that Israel has ever had in the White House.” The U.S. ties with Israel are now perhaps the strongest they have ever been. If we continue down that path, then we can expect more blessings upon this nation as God’s Word confirms.

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: Genesis 12:2-3

With multiple lawsuits, a biased media, and at least two known attempts of assassination, Trumps return to the presidency was nothing short of a miracle. Today’s technology enables news to travel instantly to almost the entire world and the world has been watching the U.S. intently these last four years. Many may now suspect the Rapture and coming 7-year tribulation have now been pushed out further. I believe it to be the opposite and it’s possible that God is now preparing His Church to be taken out.

The word “trump” has some very interesting meanings. As a verb, it means to outdo or surpass. As a noun, it means a person or thing regarded as precious or special and something that gives one an advantage, especially one held in reserve. Christians are precious and held in reserve of the Rapture. Concerning the Rapture, Paul states we shall all be changed at the last trump. The “last trump” indicates there will be a bare minimum of two “trumps” to complete the Rapture. The first “trump”, the dead in Christ shall rise and the last “trump”, we that remain.

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Cor. 15:51-52.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thess. 4:16-17

Maybe you are now thinking, “don’t be ridiculous, how can you compare the “trumps” to a sitting president? Surely this is just one big coincidence?”. Is it just a play on words? Maybe not. Trump had a first term already and is alive and remains in his last trump at the presidency.  There are no coincidences when it comes to the Lord’s work. The One World Order and God’s wrath is still coming, but the Church has been given more evidence to see the Day of the Lord approach. Christians ought to observe the signs of the times. The term “as ye see” means it is no secret.

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:25

Perhaps Matthew 24 explains it best. Let’s walk through it.

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Matthew 24:36-41

The coming of the Son of man in the future will be very similar to the days of Noah. The world will be churning along like any other day, nothing out of the ordinary, just everyday life events taking place. People will once again be oblivious to what is about to take place. As Noah and his family entered the Ark to survive the coming flood, the Rapture of the Church will take place for those that are alive and remain prior to the 7-year Tribulation.

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Matthew 24:42-44

Christians are commanded to watch regardless of world conditions, for the Day of the Lord shall come when ye think not. In other words, the world will not be in chaos at His coming. It will be a surprise to most of the population including Christians. This is confirmed again with the conclusion of Matthew 24 and the evil servant. For even the evil know they have a Lord.

But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 24:48-51

God will allow the devil’s millennial long conspiracy of a one world order to commence, but only as He pours out His wrath on an unbelieving and unrepenting world. Yes, the word “conspiracy” is mentioned exactly 10 times in the KJB.

Day of Christ

For this paper, we must first distinguish between the “Day of the Lord” and the “Day of Christ”. The key to understanding is found in the difference between the meaning of “Lord” and “Christ”.

Lord refers to King, master, ruler, possessor, judge, avenger, while Christ refers to the chosen one sacrificed for all mankind and all the promises that are in Christ such as eternal life, forgiveness of sins, promise of the Holy Spirit, promise of perfection, resurrection of the dead in Christ, promise of a new eternal body. The “Day of the Lord” is referenced 25 times in the KJV and refers to the Tribulation period and the actual day the Lord and His saints return to earth to wipe out the enemy at the battle of Armageddon. The “Day of Christ” is used only 3 times in the KJV. Now with these defined, let’s dive in.

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 2 Thes. 2:1-2

Evidently, someone posing as Paul wrote a previous letter to the Thessalonians contradicting what Paul had already informed them. So, Paul wrote again to set the record straight. Paul is talking to the Thessalonians about the RAPTURE clearly outlined in this passage by “coming of our Lord Jesus Christ”, “our gathering together unto him” and “the day of Christ”. This day fulfills some of the promises of Christ including the resurrection and our new eternal body. Many theologians have stated “the day of Christ” was misinterpreted in this passage and should say “the day of the Lord” which refers to the Tribulation period.

I have posted many times proof of the importance and perfection of the KJB. It is the perfect Word of God and even supersedes the Hebrew and Greek text. God does not expect everyone to be fluent in the original languages to understand His Word (For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light Matthew 11:30). Below are the other two usages of “the day of Christ” lest you doubt. As you can see, there is no connection to the Tribulation period, a very important distinction.

That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. Phil. 1:10-11
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. Phil. 2:13-16

Now let’s continue in Thessalonians.

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2 Thes. 2:3

Don’t let any man deceive you into thinking you missed the Rapture. Two events will take place at the Rapture. First, the falling away and then the revealing of the son of perdition. The falling away is the Rapture. How do we know? We need to look at the first instance of the Antichrist in John 13. Yes, he was already here. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition Revelation 17:11. He is also named the son of perdition by Jesus. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled John 17:12. Jesus is speaking of Judas as the son of perdition; one of the 12 disciples.

When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake. Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved. Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake. He then lying on Jesus’ breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it? Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly. Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him. For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor. He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night John 13:21-20

There is a great deal of information in this passage. The 12 disciples were in the upper room with Jesus for the Passover Supper (Luk 22:12). Jesus announces one of them will betray Him. Notice twice it is mentioned the Apostle John is leaning against Jesus. Will come back to this in a minute. Jesus said He will give the sop (son of Perdition) to the one that will betray Him. Immediately Satan entered Judas and Jesus said, “That thou doest, do quickly”. Luk 22:24 points out there was bickering among the disciples of who would be greatest, so much that they missed the fact Judas was the son of perdition, the Antichrist. “For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.” Judas immediately left the room and went out into the night (darkness, tribulation). While the Church is still on the earth, the antichrists will go out from the Church, “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us” 1 John 2:18-19.  The scene in John 13 above paints a picture of the disciples in the upper room (Heaven) in the presence and safety of Jesus – remember the Apostle John leaning on Jesus, while the Antichrist goes out into the world (the night, darkness) to conquer and betray the world. With the 2nd coming of the Antichrist, the Church will go up, the falling away, then the son of perdition will be made manifest to the world. I had written before that the falling away might be the Jewish people’s acceptance of the Antichrist, but that no longer seems to be the case after more research.

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2 Thes. 2:3
And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thes. 2:6-12

This time the Church falls away or falls out, taken out as seen in the above verse. The Church/Holy Spirit withholdeth until he be taken out. What is this “strong delusion” spoken of here? What is the lie they shall believe?

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven Revelation 13:1-6.

According to this passage, some world leader will be wounded to death, and then his deadly wound will heal, and he will be resurrected, possible 3 days latter mimicking that of our Lord. Zechariah makes mention of this deadly wound. Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened Zechariah 11:17. He will lose the use of his right arm and right eye.

That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place Acts 1:25. Judas hung himself after he betrayed Jesus. God took his spirit to “his own place” not hell, until the time of the final Antichrist. When this world leader is assassinated, it seems God will resurrect him but this time with the spirit of Judas. I am speculating here, but the Lord creates evil to do His will. “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things” Isaiah 45:7. Once again Satan will have power over him as he did during the Passover supper. When the people of the world see this “strong delusion”, sent by God, they will all worship the beast and believe a lie. Note that the Antichrist is not given “a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies” until after his deadly wound is healed. Therefore, anyone looking for the Antichrist will not find such a charismatic and a world leader prior to this event. Also note the Antichrist will blaspheme not only God and His tabernacle, but “them that dwell in Heaven”, that is us, the Church! That is why it’s called the “Blessed Hope”.

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Titus 2:13.

The Apostasy Of?

More prophecy teachers today are calling for the Rapture, more so than any time since I started looking for the Blessed Hope back in 2007. However, according to some, the Pre-wrath and post-tribulation position on the rapture are spreading like wildfire within the church. That is, Christians will go through the first half or all the Tribulation. The Apostle Paul believed in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Church. There is much to be celebrated and immense joy in the Rapture.

Remember, the devil has three objectives: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:” John 10:10. Surely, he wants to steal from Christians the joy of the Rapture and destroy any “hope” we have of leaving this earth before the Tribulation. Error always comes in when one teaches with an accusatory spirit; accusing one of not believing the truth because it is seen in a different way. Truth comes when teaching a blessing in a positive light. The Bible is clear when the Rapture will take place and is determined by only two conditions. Even at the beginning of Church history, Paul had to address the Thessalonians as they were already “deceived” into thinking they were in the Tribulation and had missed the Rapture.

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2 Thes. 2:1-3.

Paul is letting the Church at Thessalonica know that they were not in the Tribulation when they thought they were. This teaching is in the bible for the reason we see now. The key to this passage is “let no man deceive you”. That includes Bible teachers, myself included. He goes on to say, “that day shall not come”; what day? The day of the Tribulation. The first condition: a falling away takes place. The “falling away” or apostasia as the Greek says, must be something specific, something measurable. The common consensus view on the apostasy is that of the Church departing from the faith towards the end. But how does one measure that? This view never really made sense to me. Yes, some of the Church has left “sound” doctrine as the prophecy foretold in 2nd Timothy 4:3 (perhaps Pre-wrath and Post-Trib falls in this category), but there are still many bible believing churches today full of faith. The Lord has been on the move lately with revival around the country which will increase next year I believe. So, what is the “falling away” if not the church? There is another view, one to which I subscribe. The Apostasy in a spiritual sense is that of the Jewish acceptance of the Antichrist by signing the 7-year covenant which includes the ability to have temple sacrifices, and the world in general with their acceptance of the Antichrist as savior. That is a specific event that can be seen immediately. The majority of the early Church fathers associated the Antichrist with the “falling away” some even going so far as giving the Antichrist the title of “The Apostasy”.  At the time of signing, the Jewish leaders know it is wrong yet, choose to do regardless of the scriptural truth they know. Instead of receiving protection, Israel increases her troubles exponentially. Idolatry at its worst.

Wherefore hear the word of the Lord, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. 15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: 16 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. 17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. 18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it. Isaiah 28:14-18

One could say the Jews fell into a falling away already when they rejected Jesus by ignoring the Old Testament prophecies that foretold of His first coming. I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. John 5:43. Here, Jesus is prophesying the Jews will accept the Antichrist when he comes. The second condition: the Antichrist is revealed. Well, the revealing happens right after the falling away when Israel signs the 7-year covenant (Dan. 9:27). So, if you look around and see the 7-year covenant signed and the Antichrist revealed, then you missed the Rapture. If you don’t see these two conditions, then the Tribulation is yet to come. The Bible never once calls on Christians to look for the Antichrist, but to look for “that Blessed Hope” Titus 2:13.

Speaking of the Antichrist, Revelation speaks of a beast (The Antichrist) rising out of the sea, having seven heads. One of those heads receives a deadly wound, but then is healed.

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. Rev. 13:1-3.

It has been suggested that this ‘head’ is one of the world rulers or politicians at the time who is slain; the soul goes to hell but Satan revives the body and inserts a soul of a previous Roman Emporer that becomes the Antichrist. The world will see this happen and “all the world wondered after the beast”. The Old Testament confirms this deadly wound, giving further credence to the Apostasy of the Jewish people at the time of the signing since they will clearly recognize this “Idol” Shepherd by his specific wounds mentioned in Zechariah.

And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd. 16 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces. 17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened. Zech. 11:15-17

This passage in Zecharia finds ultimate fulfillment when the Antichrist comes. The word “Idol” means worthless. We can see this shepherd will receive a wound to the head, specifically the eye and his right arm. Interestingly, Jesus sits at the ‘right hand” of the Father and here the Antichrist loses his right arm. However, perhaps the resurrected soul is not that of a former Roman emperor.

The Bible says there is nothing new under the sun. “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun” Ecc. 1:9. I believe Satan’s original sin was that as a traitor committing treason against God in which he took a third of the Angels with him causing an ancient war within Heaven and our Solar system. But that is a story for another day. John and Luke record an instance when Satan enters into Judas in order to betray Jesus. Judas becomes a traitor, committing an act of treason against Jesus.

Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. Luke 22:3
And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly. John 13:27.

God allowed Satan at this time to directly enter Judas to control his soul so the prophecy of Christ’ death and resurrection could be fulfilled. When Judas died after hanging himself on a tree, the Bible says he went to his “own” place. That is a specific indication he went somewhere outside the normal location of unbelievers in hell. “That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place Acts 1:25. It is possible upon death that Satan was also allowed to retain Judas’ soul for his own purposes.

Revelation calls the Antichrist the “son of perdition”. Perdition means destroying, utter destruction. “Son of perdition” is used exactly two times in the Bible.

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition2 Thessalonians 2:3
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. John 17:12

Jesus in the book of John names Judas the “son of perdition”.

2020

2020 – a double dose of maturity, but the maturity of what? Interpret the information as you see it, but one thing is for sure – something big is coming.

The number 20 in the Bible represents maturity. Proverbs is the 20th book of the Bible, a book of wisdom and maturity.

And the children of Reuben, Israel’s eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war; Num 1:20

This reference of “twenty years old and upward” is found 40 times in the scriptures. Some interesting dates that took place 40 years ago or 20 plus 20. Forty in the Bible represents a period of testing.

  1. Egypt–Israel Peace Treaty signed 26 March 1979 but did not become effective until January 1980. We know from the Bible that this treaty will be broken at some point. See The Tower of Syene
  2. UNSC Veto April 30th 1980: The U.S.vetoes a Security Council draft resolution calling for the creation of a Palestinian state
  3. Jerusalem Law July 30th 1980: The Knesset passed the Jerusalem Law as part of the country’s Basic Law, which declared Jerusalem the unified capital of Israel
  4. UNSC Condemnation August 20th 1980: The Security Council votes to condemn Israel for the passage of the Jerusalem law and urged all nations not to recognize it. The U.S. abstains
  5. November 4 1980Ronald Reagan, the former Republican governor of California, beats President Jimmy Carter to become President of the United States

Twenty times Twenty = 400

  1. 400 years: Time between the last Old Testament book of Malachi to New Testament book of Matthew
  2. The word fear is used exactly 400 times in the Bible
  3. Abraham’s seed 400 years before deliverance:  And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; Gen 15:13   Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world……Jhn 18:36
  4. November of 1620: 400 years ago the Mayflower carried the Puritans to the New World.

At what age can a groom come for His bride? At the age of maturity. Today, on this Easter Sunday 2020, the churches around the world are empty just like the Tomb. Is that a foreshadow of what’s to come? Is the fruit ripe, mature for the harvest? Or could it be that we are about to see the outpouring of the Holy Spirit like never before bringing millions to Christ in order to mature the church? The word Redemption is used exactly 20 times in the Bible.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Col 1:14

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Eph 4:30

Redemption: deliverance, especially from the penalty of sin

Do you see what is about to happen most likely before the end of Passover April 16th 2020? The first time in history of man.

As of 4-12-20 https://www.worldometers.info/world-population/ 7,777,777,777

Rapture, Resurrection, Reformation, Redemption – what will it be? Maybe all….

What If….

The writer of Hebrews tells us that we, the church, would be able to “see the day approaching”. That day would be the rapture and the end of the church age for those of us that are watching. Today in a sense, we know we are living in the last days by developments in Israel and around the world. But yet, we really don’t know exactly how close we are to His return.

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching Heb 10:25

Interestingly, the word approaching, is used only two times in the bible. Number two; the number for divisions. The other reference is made in Isaiah chapter 58. If you did not already know, the book of Isaiah is like a mini bible. In other words, every chapter of Isaiah makes a reference to every book of the bible in order. The 58th book of the bible is Hebrews.

Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins Isa 58:1 Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God Isa 58:2

In chapter 58 of Isaiah, the Lord exposes the hypocrisy and shallow worship of His people; then and now. The word trumpet is used as a warning against sin rather than the blessed voice of God calling us home 1Co 15:52, 1Th 4:16.

Much has been said in the media about the Trump administrations “peace plan” for Israel, its’ borders, and the Palestinians. We don’t know the details yet, but surely would involve monetary grants to some of the surrounding neighbors of Israel and the changing of borders with Israel and their neighbors. The Trump team recently recognized the Golan Heights as Israeli land. The details of the plan probably will not be released until after the Israeli general election that will be held on April 9th of this year. Will Netanyahu remain in office, or will another prevail?

We know by bible prophecy that this covenant, if embraced, will not last as God never intended for the original land He gave to the Jewish people to be divided. And we know there are yet many regional prophetic conflicts waiting to be fulfilled most likely before the beginning of the Tribulation. Some of those below.

  • Isaiah 17 – The burden of Damascus
  • Isaiah 19 – The burden of Egypt
  • Jeremiah 49:34-39 – Prophecy against Elam
  • Ezekiel 38 – Gog, the land of Magog

What if part of Trump’s peace plan includes the building of the third temple? Secretary of state Pompeo, whom is a Christian, recently posted a video on his twitter feed of his recent visit to Israel when he met with PM Netanyahu. Towards the end of the short video, it shows a model of what would be the third temple. View the video here: https://twitter.com/SecPompeo/status/1109083029430067200

Everything is already in place for the establishment of the third temple. Establishing the third temple as part of the U.S. backed peace plan/covenant would certainly be enough to get the ball rolling and would give Christians a real, undeniable, confirmation that the day is approaching and the church age is coming to an end! Then would we not “exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching“? Exhorting means to strongly encourage, comfort, and strengthen.

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate Dan 9:27

After much prophetic regional conflict occurs (listed above), Daniel 9 tells us the antichrist will confirm the covenant. The wording suggest a previous covenant (Trump’s peace plan?) had already been implemented to some extent (and obviously broken), and that he (the antichrist) would confirm it. To confirm something means to establish the truth, accuracy, validity, or genuineness of; to make valid or binding by some formal or legal act; sanction; ratify. You get the idea. The passage does not say the antichrist creates the covenant, but confirms it.

Keep your eyes peeled after the April 9th election to see what may be in store with the upcoming U.S. peace plan. One can always hope……

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Tit 2:13

….as ye see the day approaching…. Israel @ 70 YEARS

If we want to know where we stand on God’s prophetic clock, we must always look to the nation of Israel, for Daniel’s 70th week – the seven year tribulation – is all about the country of Israel.

The book of Matthew was written between 50-55 A.D. and Jesus warned at the beginning of chapter 24 that their temple would be destroyed.

And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. Mat. 24:1-2.

The book of Hebrews, written to the Jewish people, was written around 65-67 A.D., so the Jewish people were well aware of Matthew’s prophecy for the destruction of their temple by the time Hebrews was available. Hebrews 10:25 talks about an approaching day and later in verse 37 speaks of the soon coming of Christ.

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Heb. 10:25

For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Heb. 10:37

For the Jewish people of that day, they saw the day approaching as the destruction of their temple and was fulfilled in 70 A.D. by the Roman Empire. For today’s Christians, what would that day approaching be? It would be the 70th year anniversary of the establishment of modern day Israel and the soon return of our Lord to follow. Israel will be 70 on May 14th, 2018.

Some interesting facts on Netanyahu, current Prime Minister of Israel.

  • The only PM born in Israel since the nations beginning in 1948.
  • Netanyahu has been elected Prime Minister of Israel four times and the only PM to be elected three times in a row. The biblical number 3 refers to Divine control, election, sovereignty, volition, ordering, or perfection.
  • His first term was from 1996-1999 and the youngest ever PM elected. Since his last election in 2009, he has been in office for the last 9 years and is the 9th of 12 total PM’s of Israel.
  • He was born October 21, 1949, one day after Methuselah died according to Jewish tradition. Methuselah whose name means “his death shall bring” was the longest living man in history at 969 years and upon his death, Noah’s flood came. This year Netanyahu will turn 69 years old.
  • The biblical number 9 refers to finality, termination or fulfillment…arriving at the end. The biblical number 12 represents Headship, rule.

Do all of those 9’s mean anything? Maybe, maybe not. Though one can’t help but wonder…

So what are we to make of Israel turning 70? At the very least, it is with almost certainty, that God’s prophetic clock will start once more as much needs to be done before the beginning of Daniel’s 70th week and will take perhaps a year or longer to have all in place. For 7 is the number of God’s program on behalf of man; when God is doing something for man, as in the 7000 year plan for mankind or the 490 weeks for Israel or the 7 years Nebuchadnezzar lived as a wild beast in the wilderness. You get the picture.  If we are not taken out of here soon, we will see major prophecy begin to be fulfilled, and there are many waiting in the wings.

When do we leave? Well before Daniel’s 70th week as Jesus told us in Matthew 24.

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Mat. 24:36-42

As you can see, it will be an ordinary day just like today when our Lord returns. We cannot confuse this passage with Jesus physical return at the end of the 7 year Tribulation because at that time, most of the world and 2/3rds of the population will be destroyed and no one will be getting married, given in marriage, or be eating and drinking in a celebratory way.

It will happen as Paul says “in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump, 1Co 15:52. Just like when we see a bolt of lighting. “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” Mat 24:27. “And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south” Zec 9:14.
