The Great American Eclipse and Revelation 12 Event

By now you should have heard about what is fast becoming one of the most controversial subjects on the internet. August 21st marks a total solar eclipse visible only to the United States. Nine days prior to this event on August 12th will be the brightest shower in the recorded human history. 

This meteor shower is being considered as once in a lifetime opportunity as the next meteor shower of such kind will be after 96 years.

Then on September 23rd will occur the alignment of stars and planets to depict the Revelation 12 scene. Some are adamant this exact alignment has not happened in the last 7,000 years of history.

On the one side, many see the Revelation 12 event as a date for the Rapture, while on the other side they completely dismiss this idea without any other insight into these two events.

Clearly the Rapture cannot be dated as given by the doctrine of immanency in the bible. The book of Titus was written by the Apostle Paul to Titus, a brother in Christ, as a letter of encouragement. Two thousand years ago we see Paul looking for the coming of Christ.

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;Tit 2:13

BUT, we can see the day approaching “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching“ Heb 10:25

So while the Revelation 12 event is most likely not the date for the Rapture, it and the eclipse cannot be taken as pure coincidence either. Maybe the Rapture will take place between these two events, only God knows…..it is very likely though that they represent the Rapture or some other big prophetic event is just on the horizon. We shall see!

Perhaps James says it best ” Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh” Jas 5:8

For First Time in Millennia, Jewish Priests Will Undergo Training to Enter Temple’s Holy of Holies

For the first time in 2,000 years, a group of Kohanim (men of the Jewish priestly caste) living close to Jerusalem’s Old City are studying the relevant Jewish laws to be able to ascend the Temple Mount and enter the Holy of Holies, where God’s presence is said to dwell.

Despite Arab threats, thousands march around Old City walls, marking beginning of Tisha B’Av.

 

Jesus is the only solution, and one day He will come for His people.

In leaked recording, US President Trump’s son-in-law and senior advisor sounds uncertain whether the administration could find a ‘unique’ solution to the decades old conflict; addressing the Temple Mount crisis, he says ‘a lot of seemingly logical measures taken that somehow became a little bit incendiary.’
