Back in the summer of 2014 during the Israeli/Hamas conflict, Egypt’s head of government Al-Sisi, publicly announced a role in “protecting” Israel’s southern border. Egypt had offered to help Israel by closing off the Rafah Border Crossing to the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula in order to keep military arms and supplies away from Hamas.

But now, an article released April 6th from Arutz Sheva says ‘Egypt is Preparing for War with Israel’. The information comes from Noha Hashad, an Egyptian pro-Israeli nuclear scientist who escaped Egypt after years of torture. She claims the Egyptian military buildup in the Sinai Peninsula to fight “terrorist” that reside there is really just a front to cover up a plan to attack Israel.

Speaking to Israel Hayom‘s Emily Amrousi from her new home in Haifa, Hashad was asked to give her take about Egypt’s actions in Sinai, where the Egyptian army has been fighting radical groups such as Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, a group that recently swore allegiance to Islamic State (ISIS).

“That’s all for show,” appraised Hashad. “In the race for the presidency, Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis supported (President Abdel Fattah) al-Sisi, who isn’t really fighting them.”

The nuclear scientist warned “Egypt is preparing for war with Israel. It armed and trained Hamas in Gaza. Whoever knows Arabic can hear the heads of Egyptian military intelligence talk about wide canals that open up between Israel and Egypt that will be used at the appropriate time.”

The warning echoes appraisals by Col. (res.) Dr. Shaul Shay, former deputy head of the Israel National Security Council, who wrote in Israel Defense last December that the “Badr 2014” military maneuver, its largest in decades, was meant to prepare for “a potential conflict with Israel.”

Egypt has been imposing a massive buffer zone inside Gaza on the southern border with the Sinai, evicting thousands of locals and creating a presence within the Hamas stronghold.

Last February the Nile state sealed a $2 billion arms deal with Russia, and just last Tuesday US President Barack Obama unfroze American military aid that had been suspended in the violent coup that put al-Sisi in power in July, 2013.

What does the Bible have to say about this? There is a prophecy in Ezekiel that mentions Egypt’s betrayal against Israel.

6 And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the Lord, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel. 7 When they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou didst break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou brakest, and madest all their loins to be at a stand. 8 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee. 9 And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the Lord: because he hath said, The river is mine, and I have made it. 10 Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia. No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years. Ezekiel 29:6-11

Part of this prophecy beginning in verse one was filled during the Babylonian captivity, but when this prophecy was written, the Tower of Syene did not exist, that is until now. The rest of the fulfillment will happen in the last days. The tower was built around 1967 and resides next to Egypt’s Aswan Dam and can be seen highlighted in yellow below.

AswanWhat could cause the damage foretold in Ezekiel and why are the Egyptians scattered among the nations as verse 12 says? If Israel is threatened by Egypt, all it would take is a Israeli nuclear air strike against the dam. The Aswan Dam holds back the enormous Lake Nasser, 340 miles long and 22 miles wide at its widest point. The 40 years of Egypt’s desolation prophesied will continue into the millennium.

Let’s not forget the recent consensus by the Arab League to form a united Arab army all at the request of Abdel Fattah Saeed Hussein Khalil el-Sisi, the sixth and current President of Egypt

The Red Heifer and the 3rd Jewish Temple

The Temple Institute has been preparing for the 3rd Jewish temple for some time now, but the missing ingredient needed to re-establish the temple is the Red Heifer. Finding one that meets strict biblical requirements has been a task that seemingly has been impossible to meet…until now.

The ashes of the Red Heifer will be used to purify the temple for service and the heifer must be 3 years of age at the time of sacrifice. One has been found in the state of New Jersey, that so for, has met the biblical standards. She is beautiful and just turned two years old….

Arab League joint Arab Military Force……Official

The Arab Military is now official.

“The Arab leaders have decided to agree on the principle of a joint Arab military force,” Sisi said Sunday as the summit wrapped up. The summit final communique called for “coordination, efforts and steps to establish an unified Arab force” to intervene in countries such as Yemen.

The Egyptian leader said a high-level panel will work out the structure and mechanism of the future force. The work is expected to take four months.

Earlier reports said the joint Arab military may be formed from roughly 40,000 elite troops and backed by warplanes, warships and light armor. There are however doubts that all 22 members of the Arab League would significantly contribute to it; the formations of the force could take months.

Perhaps it is still too early, but a more clear picture of the Middle East is now unfolding. The 22 Arab states are mostly Sunni Muslim. Al Qaeda and Hamas are Sunni militant groups. Turkey is mostly Sunni, but it is not yet clear whom they support at this time, but we know from scripture they will attack Israel along with Iran and Russia.

Iran, Hezbollah, Assad Regime of Syria, and the Houthis are all Shi’a Muslim and are supported by the countries of Russia, China, and North Korea. Hezbollah is a militant group based in Lebanon.

And then there is ISIS whom are Salafis, a movement and doctrine known as Salafism which is the fastest-growing Islamic movement in the world. Salafis are also the dominant minority in Saudi Arabia with 4 million members. ISIS has a relatively unknown goal other than to destroy everything in their path.

 

Bushehr Plant shutdown and Nuclear Deadline

The author recognizes the following details that reside outside of the Prophecy against Elam are speculation, but these details are too tempting to resist.

The Iran nuclear deal has a “political agreement” deadline of March 31st while the more complicated technical aspect agreement is June 30th. Is the political nuclear agreement due March 31st directly tied to the recent shutdown of the Bushehr nuclear plant in Iran?

Israel has called the emerging deal as ‘incomprehensibly’ bad.

As Iran hailed “massive progress” toward a deal on its nuclear program, an Israeli official described the terms of the looming agreement as “incomprehensibly” bad and rejected the Obama administration’s contention that it would keep the regime a year away from accumulating enough fissile material for a bomb.

Iran shut down its Bushehr nuclear plant around the beginning of March to refuel the power plant and will take 2 months to complete.

The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has been quoted by IRNA state news agency as announcing that Bushehr plant will remain shut down for two months.

It added that the annual refueling deadline for the plant falls in June. “However, given that June is a period when electricity consumption reaches its maximum, Bushehr plant needed to be put off the stream sooner to prepare it for the summer consumption peak,” said the AEOI in its statement.

Bushehr plant officially began its operations in September 2011, generating electricity at 40 percent of its capacity. The commercial production of the plant is expected to happen later in 2015.

Iran and Russia signed several deals in late 2014 over the construction of two nuclear reactor units at Bushehr plant.  The deals also envisage the building six more reactors in the project in the future.

Iran says it has shut down its Bushehr nuclear power plant based on a previously arranged schedule.

Refueling spent fuel rods is a delicate and dangerous operation. An accident would be catastrophic . The Bushehr plant is located in the ancient Persian area of Elam and is prone to earthquakes. The plant experienced a 7.7 quake in April of 2013. 

The recent Fukushima disaster was created after a 9.0 earthquake caused a tsunami to hit the facility.  Jeremiah’s prophecy is clear that the disaster will cause a dispersion of people from the area of Elam.

36 And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come. Jeremiah 49:36

Concerning the joint Arab army:

Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdel-Atti said that 19 nations have confirmed their attendance in the upcoming Arab Summit scheduled to be held on Saturday 28 March in Sharm El-Sheikh.
The Egyptian delegation is also expected to discuss the creation of a joint Arab army.

Psalm 83 – the beginning?

Arab foreign ministers meeting in Egypt agreed a draft resolution on Thursday to form a unified military force, in a move aimed at countering growing regional security threats.

The agreement came after warplanes from Saudi Arabia and Arab allies struck Shiite Muslim rebels in Yemen on Thursday, in an effort to check Iranian influence in their backyard without direct military backing from Washington.

 

The idea was first floated by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. The 22 Arab states often have different views on how to tackle crises and calls for a unified force in the past have failed to produce tangible results.
