2020

2020 – a double dose of maturity, but the maturity of what? Interpret the information as you see it, but one thing is for sure – something big is coming.

The number 20 in the Bible represents maturity. Proverbs is the 20th book of the Bible, a book of wisdom and maturity.

And the children of Reuben, Israel’s eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war; Num 1:20

This reference of “twenty years old and upward” is found 40 times in the scriptures. Some interesting dates that took place 40 years ago or 20 plus 20. Forty in the Bible represents a period of testing.

  1. Egypt–Israel Peace Treaty signed 26 March 1979 but did not become effective until January 1980. We know from the Bible that this treaty will be broken at some point. See The Tower of Syene
  2. UNSC Veto April 30th 1980: The U.S.vetoes a Security Council draft resolution calling for the creation of a Palestinian state
  3. Jerusalem Law July 30th 1980: The Knesset passed the Jerusalem Law as part of the country’s Basic Law, which declared Jerusalem the unified capital of Israel
  4. UNSC Condemnation August 20th 1980: The Security Council votes to condemn Israel for the passage of the Jerusalem law and urged all nations not to recognize it. The U.S. abstains

Twenty times Twenty = 400

  1. 400 years: Time between the last Old Testament book of Malachi to New Testament book of Matthew
  2. The word fear is used exactly 400 times in the Bible
  3. Abraham’s seed 400 years before deliverance:  And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; Gen 15:13   Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world……Jhn 18:36
  4. November of 1620: 400 years ago the Mayflower carried the Puritans to the New World.

At what age can a groom come for His bride? At the age of maturity. Today, on this Easter Sunday 2020, the churches around the world are empty just like the Tomb. Is that a foreshadow of what’s to come? Is the fruit ripe, mature for the harvest? Or could it be that we are about to see the outpouring of the Holy Spirit like never before bringing millions to Christ in order to mature the church? The word Redemption is used exactly 20 times in the Bible.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Col 1:14

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Eph 4:30

Redemption: deliverance, especially from the penalty of sin

Do you see what is about to happen most likely before the end of Passover April 16th 2020? The first time in history of man.

Passover 2020

Not since the first Passover of the Jewish people in Egypt when God commanded them to stay indoors has this happened.

And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. Exodus 12:22-23

COVID-19

It can be argued that outside the Flood of Noah, no other event in history has panicked the entire world like COVID-19, and it is all about fear. The level of fear and negativity being generated by the politicians, media and social media over this event is staggering. There should be more concern over the people in panic rather than the virus itself. It is a forced move, an attempt to bring in the new world order by collapsing the world economies, but an attempt that will fail.

The virus is real and many have died. All life is precious in the site of God and the Apostle Paul said “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Rom 8:18

The scriptures give us clues and directions to end time events and they clearly point out that this virus is not the beginning of the end. Perhaps the biggest evidence is in Matthew 24:36-44.

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,  And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.  Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

This passage of scripture is referring to the rapture. Jesus is telling His disciples that no man knows the day or the hour it will occur. Furthermore, He is saying that life will be moving along in a normal fashion, just like it was before Noah’s flood hit. People will be eating and drinking together, marrying and giving in marriage, another normal day and then boom, the rapture. Today that is not the case as the whole world has canceled most weddings and closed eating establishments due to the virus. It shall pass.

We also know from scripture that various wars leading up to the beginning of the tribulation have yet to take place. One of the most well known is the Gog and Magog war noted in Ezekiel 38. Multiple countries and people groups “9 shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee”… 16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes”. The Lord say’s the armies will be so immense, it will be like a cloud to cover the land as they move against Israel. The mass mobilization of this many people simply cannot take place during a virus outbreak as contagious as SARS-CoV-2. It shall pass.

And finally, the Lord will never allow man nor the evil powers and principalities to boast over their own devices concerning prophetic events. In other words, the prophetic Tribulation and all that is associated with it will come, but it will not be because of any device or scheme they devised. It will be because of what the Lord has put in place.  We see this throughout all scripture and perhaps the most impacting is when Jesus “having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Col 2:15 after He died on the cross. This leads to how the Lord may use this virus outbreak to His will. Perhaps he will bring the long-awaited justice and exposure of the corrupt politicians and to many of the so-called “Christian” religious leaders of our day to light. Perhaps this year we will see the Lord work in a way that is unprecedented since the time of Christ. At the very least, this is a wake-up call to Christians and the naysayers of the world that ridicule the end times. Most Christians have been caught up in the to and fro hustle and bustle of life that Dan 12:4 predicts for the last days. Is God positioning us with no choice but to settle down in our homes as a protective measure against the virus, but also to reflect and prepare our relationship to Him and our families…. “that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh”. It shall pass.

Christians should not be in fear. It is interesting that the word fear is used exactly 400 times in the KJV. It is a factor of 40 (period of testing) and 10 (the whole unit as in the 10 commandments, 1 through 9 and 0). The Lord tells us many times not to be fearful. “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest” Joshua 1:9.

Our hope is in the Lord “And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee” Psa 39:7 Christians should be waiting on that hope and “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Tit 2:13

People are looking for hope now more than ever and open to discussion.

If you don’t know Jesus, then you are without hope in this chaotic world…..

BUT, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Jhn 3:16 “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Act 16:31 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Jhn 14:6

The Church does not go home shaking and trembling. Justice is coming. Have hope, have faith, there are better days ahead.

Iran Nuclear – AKA Elam

Trump has deployed American heavy bombers to the region. There can be only one possible target.

If Trump orders attacks on Iranian sites he will no doubt first, select the Iranian nuclear facilities….

Iran’s nuclear program is the regime’s sacred cow and the destruction of it would be a fatal blow to the Iranian aspiration to dominate the Middle East and to destroy Israel.

Justice and Judgment

Pslam 37, 40 verses – 40, a period of testing……6,000+ years worth coming to an end soon…

[[A Psalm of David.]] Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. 7Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth. 10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. 11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. 13 The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. 14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. 15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. 16 A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. 17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous. 18 The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. 19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. 20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. 21 The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. 22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off. 23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. 25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. 26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. 27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.28 For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. 29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. 30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. 31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. 32 The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. 33 The Lord will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. 34 Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. 35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. 36 Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. 37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble. 40 And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him. Psalm 37
