Egyptian President Abdel Fatteh El-Sisi has sent a secret missive to President Barack Obama asking for urgent US military intervention in support of Egypt’s war on the Islamist State in Sinai, before the jihadis pose a real threat to Cairo………..
…….., given his record as former defense minister and a much-decorated general in the Egyptian army, an appeal to a foreign power for military assistance is out of character and would normally be found unacceptable in his own milieu. It must therefore be seen as a sign of extreme distress over Cairo’s failure to vanquish – or even contain ISIS, which now poses a strategic threat to Egypt proper…………..
Although it will not be the end of ISIS, it will escalate the many prophecies to come in the Middle East.
VLADIMIR Putin is preparing to send 150,000 troops to Syria in a bid to wipe out the evil Islamic State once and for all.
The Russian leader is reportedly mounting an enormous military mission to take control of the terror group’s stronghold of Raqqa.
The city is the self-declared capital of ISIS in Syria and is patrolled by as many as 5,000 jihadi members.
Putin is set to mobilise 150,000 reservists who he conscripted into the military earlier this week.
If you take seriously the threat of ISIS and Islam and what they are doing to the world today, you don’t want to miss this video. Gary talks again with Middle East and Islam expert Avi Lipkin. You will be surprised at what he has to say.
You may remember a post here back in December of Avi Lipkin outlining the possibility of the Houthis overtaking the country of Yemen and how that may affect the future of Saudi Arabia. Well that vision has now come to pass as today Yemen’s president, cabinet resign amid rebel standoff.
Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi has resigned under pressure from Shiite rebels who seized the capital in September and have confined the embattled leader to his home for the past two days.
Presidential officials said Hadi resigned after being pressured to make concessions to the rebels, known as Houthis.
On top of that, the King of Saudi Arabia has died with power currently transferred to his half-brother, but it will be interesting to see what develops in the near future.
The death of Saudi Arabia’s King Abdallah puts the Yemen crisis on the front burner for the king’s successor Prince Salman. Abdullah’s death comes on the heels of the resignation of Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, which is a major setback for American and Saudi diplomacy, a limited victory for Iran and a plus for al-Qaeda.
To make matters worse, ISIS is gaining ground in Yemen, competing with al Qaeda.
Remember that ISIS has threatened to invade Saudi Arabia and the Saudi’s have taken the threat very seriously as they are determined to build a 600 mile wall to keep them out.

President Francois Hollande visited the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle in Toulon Wednesday ahead of its departure for the Gulf and Indian Ocean. There was no word on its mission in those waters, but the presidential visit on the carrier’s deck, a week after deadly Islamist terror attacks shocked France, suggested operations were afoot against Al Qaeda in Arabia (AQAP), its Yemen headquarters and/or Islamic State targets in Iraq. DEBKAfile: If the Charles de Gaulle does carry out such operations, it will be the first time that a Western nuclear warship has ever gone into action against Al Qaeda targets.
In the eyes of most Iraqis, their country’s best ally in the war against the Islamic State group is not the United States and the coalition air campaign against the militants. It’s Iran, which is credited with stopping the extremists’ march on Baghdad.

The arrival of the Dhar family in Syria last month represents a key strategic goal of the Islamic State: to build not just an army but a society. The group has vowed to create a nation ruled by Islamic sharia law, and its leaders and online recruiters have encouraged doctors, nurses, lawyers, engineers and accountants to join them in building the institutions of a new holy land.
Entire families — fathers, mothers and children — have answered that call in numbers that have surprised and alarmed analysts who study the extremist group.
High Taliban officers in Pakistan and Afghanistan made a vow of allegiance Sunday, Jan. 12 to the Islamic State’s leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi – initiating concord among key groups of the Islamist terror movement in defiance of the values that brought millions out in a mammoth rally of Western unity against terror that day.The Islamic State’s elite unit wiped out the forward command group of the a commando force belonging to Iran’s Al Qods Brigades early Monday, Jan. 12, killing its commander, Gen. Is it possible that 1.6 billion people [Muslims] should want to kill the rest of the world’s inhabitants—that is 7 billion—so that they themselves may live? Impossible!
I am saying these words here at Al Azhar, before this assembly of scholars and ulema—Allah Almighty be witness to your truth on Judgment Day concerning that which I’m talking about now.
All this that I am telling you, you cannot feel it if you remain trapped within this mindset. You need to step outside of yourselves to be able to observe it and reflect on it from a more enlightened perspective.
I say and repeat again that we are in need of a religious revolution. You, imams, are responsible before Allah. The entire world, I say it again, the entire world is waiting for your next move… because this umma is being torn, it is being destroyed, it is being lost—and it is being lost by our own hands.
The successful roll-out so far of a new “smart card” system to distribute subsidized bread has been a major achievement for Egypt’s government, saving money while earning praise from families who no longer have to wake early to fight for loaves.
President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi appears to be succeeding where predecessors Hosni Mubarak and Mohamed Mursi both failed in the delicate task of reforming a system that has drained the state’s finances while angering the population.
If we want to know where we are in the God’s prophetic timeline, we must always look to Israel, for Israel is at the center of all prophecy yet to take place. The closer we get to prophetic events, the more clear the scriptures become. Perhaps that is now the case with the following prophetic passage:
The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. 2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. 3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. Zech. 12:1-3
5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the Lord of hosts their God. 6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem. Zech. 12:5-6
The word “governors” is a translation of the Hebrew, eluf, meaning “brigadier” as in a brigadier general of the Israeli Defense Force (IDF). Jerusalem is the location of the Temple Mount where the last Jewish temple resided before its destruction in 70 A.D. by the Romans. Bible prophecy says that Israel will build a third temple and perform sacrifices during the Tribulation. The Temple Institute has been hard a work preparing for the day that the new temple is complete. In order for this to happen, Israel must regain complete control of Jerusalem. Today, that is not the case.
Violence at the Temple Mount and in Jerusalem has escalated in the last month causing tension between Israel and Jordan, the official “keeper” of the Temple Mount. Last week Rabbi Yehuda Glick, former director of The Temple Institute, was shot by a Palestinian following a presentation at the Menachem Begin Heritage Center in Jerusalem. In response, Israel closed the Temple Mount against Muslim worshipers for the day. Jordan responded by threatening to revoke peace treaty over the Temple Mount and recently recalled its ambassador to Israel over Jerusalem ‘violations’. Meanwhile Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas incited violence at the Temple Mount over the shooting incident and called the closure of al-Aqsa holy site a ‘declaration of war’. In another attack of violence today, an Arab driver plowed his vehicle into a crowd of people at a light rail station.
Perhaps most troubling is ISIS since they have already threatened to cut off Jordan’s King Abdullah’s head and have since threatened to: Islamic Caliphate will be established in the Sinai, calling it the ”first step towards the invasion of Jerusalem”. ISIS has made huge gains in the middle east mostly unreported by the media and to make matters worse Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, Egypt’s most active militant group, has sworn allegiance to Islamic State.
At some point, war will break out again in the region and the God of Israel and their superior firepower will eliminate the enemy in Jerusalem allowing them to build the 3rd temple. Israel continues to build their military prowess and now have the best Air force in the world and have the most powerful military in the Middle East today. Israel has continued to improve on its Iron Dome by adapting for Intercepts at Sea. With their powerful military and knowing they will be victorious in all the wars leading up to the Tribulation, moving them quickly to the powerhouse of the Middle East, it begs the question, what actually will the signing of the covenant with the Antichrist and Israel consist of?
When it is all said and done, the Lord will descend and will stand upon the Mount of Olives.
And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. Zec 14:4
By now the whole world has heard of ISIS and their atrocities to mankind. ISIS is the original name given to this group of Islamic Jihadist and stands for Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (Abbasid Caliphate province in the region of Syria, or standing on its own refers to Damascus). Other names include IS and ISIL. Who is this group, where did they come from, and is there a connection to end time prophecy?
The rumor mill is in full swing as to how ISIS came about and who may have had a hand in their creation. Perhaps the most favored one is ISIS is a creation of the CIA in collaboration with Mossad (national intelligence agency of Israel). Some say that the leader of ISIS, al-Baghdadi is actually a Mossad agent for the purpose of:
