In this verse we see the Anti-Christ will confirm a 7-year covenant (Tribulation period) with Israel probably right after the Gog Magog war at time which the 3rd temple may already be in operation. At the mid-point of the Tribulation, he will stop Israel from the ritual sacrifices.

At the mid-point, the Anti-Christ will enter into the 3rd temple and display to the world he is God.
