Confidence

We need confidence now more than ever. Godly confidence.

(A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

9 Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.

11 Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Psa.27


Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Heb.10

 

Healing

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Ch. 7:14

Watchman’s Warning

In my humble opinion, our country is in bad trouble. We are at a critical crossroad. If we do not get a supernatural intervention from God soon, this country will fall into utter destruction. The deterioration and degeneration of society and our culture cannot be sustained. The social order is under too much stress and will eventually rip. Something must give.  

At this point, it seems there are only three paths that can be taken while the church is still here, utter destruction of our country, the rapture, a supernatural intervention from God that brings justice, restoration, and revival. I believe we will take the last route, but not before some very dark days come to past in the very near future leading to a chain of events that will bring the justice of God.

Don’t get me wrong, Daniel’s 70th week and the book of Revelation are on the horizon just as it is written but, we should not want to rush into it as many people seem to be doing today. Yes, we can see many biblical prophecies starting to line up with Israel. However, we must remember we are still living in the age of “Grace” until we are raptured home. God will always preserve His people.

God’s wrath is reserved and poured out during the Tribulation. I do not see what is happening today as His judgment but rather He is allowing the evil to happen to open the eyes of the people. The evil that is being done against the children is an abomination to the Lord. He does have a limit. 

I have written about justice a few times previously, especially beginning the year 2020. Today the world is full of evil and injustice, but God rarely delivers instant justice. We must wait patiently. “For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly” Psa. 84:11

Let us not forget – “Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” 1 Peter 4:17

The teachings of the modern church for the most part is out of control. The pastors are sheep in wolves clothing and are leading their congregations astray and have become very accepting of the unbiblical norms of today’s society.

We must be careful not to challenge God. Biblically speaking we know God will intervene, it just may not be when we want. “Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?” Mal. 2:17.

Perhaps I am wrong in this line of thinking, but that is okay because I still have the ‘hope’ it will happen sooner than later.

Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face. Psa. 89:14
To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice. Pro 21:3
The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. Pro 16:4-5

I would encourage you to watch the uplifting video at the link below. Perhaps it is the beginning of a strong move of the Spirit on the nation and around the world. We are all sinners and must humbly submit ourselves before the Lord praying for His mercy and Justice.

The Little Children

And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. MaR. 9:42

The Holy One of Israel

For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king. Psa 89:18

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. Isa 10:20

Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee. Isa 12:6

At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel. Isa 17:7

Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. Isa 41:14

As for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel. Isa 47:4

And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a  loud voice, Saying, Let   us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God. Luke 4:33-34

Resurrection

If you did not already know, the rapture is the first of the resurrections and will include the Church age saints both the living and the dead.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1 TH 4:16-18

But, we would not have the ability to resurrect were it not for our Blessed Hope.

Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. And they remembered his words. Luke 24:1-8

Even the Old Testament Saint, Job was aware of a pre-tribulation rapture.

O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me! Job 14:13
The last resurrection occurs at the end of the millennium during the Great White Throne of Judgment. This is for those who did not believe.
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Rev. 20:11-15

Will you resurrect unto life or unto death? Time is short. Put your trust in the Lord Jesus.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Rom. 6:23

The Key to Heaven….

Was hung on a nail. 

The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head. I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O Lord my God. When my soul fainted within me I remembered the Lord: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple. 8They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord. Jonah 2:5-9

Whether you are a Christian or non-believer, we forsake our own mercy if we observe lying vanities. We are following after a deception or lie if we think we know what’s best for our life rather than God. If we think we can find happiness apart from God. It is a lie for you to think that you can escape from God, the call of God, or from the presence of God. Attempting to do so is forsaking your own mercy and will only result in bringing misery and disaster upon yourself. God is merciful, God is loving. Nothing is better than what God has in mind for you as an individual. It is the very best thing that could ever happen to you.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Only Jesus.
