Darkness

One of the most important and overlooked verses in the Bible. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15.

Why is it important? To understand the Bible, the way God intended us too, we must ‘rightly’ divide the word of truth. Many Christians will only perform a cursory reading of the Bible; missing much of the deeper truths that it reveals.  Others will refuse to look beyond the first principals of Christ, affirming the Gospel is enough for them. However, the Word says, “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,” Heb. 6:1. In other words, Jesus is the foundation. Without Him we can go no further, but once the foundation is laid, one must continue to build upon the house so it may be ‘approved’ to live in rather than constantly laying down the foundation or abandoning the foundation altogether.

So how does one ‘rightly’ divide the Word? There are many ways. This post will be one such example, but it will only work using the KJV. The following will be a good deal of scripture to read but promises a blessing for the reader at the end. We will look at the word “darkness” within the Bible to understand how God determines its meaning.

The most abundant condition in the universe is darkness. Certainly, God is the creator of darkness (Isa 45:7, Isa 50:3), however, unlike light, it has no source. It just exists. Why is most of the universe in darkness and why has God never called darkness “good” in all of scripture?

– For the enemies of God, darkness is used as a judgement.

And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. 22 And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: 23 They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings. Exodus 10:21-23
Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light. 19 As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. 20 Shall not the day of the Lord be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it? 21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies. 22 Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts. 23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols. 24 But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream. Amos 5:18-24
But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies. Nahum 1:8
Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron; 11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High: Psalm 107:10-11

– Darkness is used as a divider.

And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: 20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.Exodus 14:19-20

– Darkness is linked to “death” and “without any order

Before I go whence I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death; 22 A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness. Job 10:21-22
And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. 45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. 46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. Luke 23:44-46

– Darkness is equated with evil the opposite of goodness.

When I looked for good, then evil came unto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkness. Job 30:26
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Isa 5:20
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. John 3:19

– Darkness is connected to God’s wrath.

I Am the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath. 2 He hath led me, and brought me into darkness, but not into light. 3 Surely against me is he turned; he turneth his hand against me all the day. Lamentations 3:1-3
That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, Zeph 1:15

– Darkness is the “way of the wicked”.

The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. Proverb 4:19

– Darkness is a servant separated from the King.

Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Mat 22:13

– Forsaken of God is darkness.

Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. 46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Mat 27:45-46

– Darkness signifies a betrayal against God.

Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves? 53 When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness. Luke 22:52-53

– Darkness is associated with spiritual wickedness in high places.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Eph. 6:12

– Darkness is linked to sin, death, judgement, and hell.

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 2 Peter 2:4

– Where God “dwells”, there is no darkness.

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5
And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. Rev. 21:23

– Darkness is associated to rebellion against God.

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Jude 1:6
Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. Jude 1:13

If you have made it this far, congratulations. You have a definitive understanding of how God uses “darkness”. Now for the test. Using what you just learned, what happened in two of the most misunderstood verses in the bible?

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Genesis 1:1-2

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:  2Pe 3:5

Israel turns 76 Today

Today is the 76th anniversary for the independence of the State of Israel. Next year Israel will be 77 years old. 77, did you catch that? Seven, the biblical number of the program of God on behalf of man.

And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son: 29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed. 30 And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters: 31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.

Lamech, the father of Noah lived 777 years. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Mat. 24:37-39

Just saying….

I have seen an end of all perfection:

Twice in the Bible the Lord ask this question.

And the Lord said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? 14 Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. Gen. 18:13-14

Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? Jer. 32:27

As a Christian, you must ask yourself, do you really believe that? If you are genuine, then of course you do. A Christian believes in the resurrection of Jesus, the parting of the Red Sea, Noah’s flood, and the list goes on, but sometimes we dismiss the obvious.

God also says, “For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” Malachi 3:6. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8

Again, I ask, as a Christian do you believe that? There is only one Church and one Word, yet man has created hundreds of denominations of the Church and versions of the Word. Why is that? At the highest level, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:” John 10:10, and man always thinks he knows better than God. Just read through the Proverbs.

The Bible says that God’s Word is Truth, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” John 17:17. However, if man has altered God’s word, then how is it still “Truth”.  They can only “bear record” if the Word has not been altered. 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

God’s word has been kept and preserved until this very day, if you have the right book. The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. Psalm 12:6-7.

This incredible discovery was made in October of last year by a brother in South Africa. He desired to remain anonymous, so he sent the information to Brandon Peterson founder of “Truth in Christ” ministries who has made multiple videos outlining the validity of the KJV compared to other versions. I recently posted one of his videos. Brandon took the information and verified it. He and his wife spent over a month meticulously counting in its absolute entirety, every word of the Bible. This count contained the words of the Bible and the structure of the Bible including the cover, book titles, chapters, verses, and finally the words. You can use the Cambridge Concord KJV original printing of 1769 or the Pure Cambridge Edition KJV of 1900 to get the same results. Below is a picture showing the extra words for each book title as viewed in either of these books.

Now the discovery. After every word, verse, and chapter number was counted, it resulted exactly in 823,543 words or 7 to the 7th power, 7x7x7x7x7x7x7!!

We know that is the biblical number for the Program of God on behalf of man. It is God’s perfect number. You can also take the number 823,543 and calculate (8+2+3+5+4+3) = 25 …. 2 + 5 = 7!

I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad. Psalm 119:96

Solar Eclipse Warning!

I had written previously on what tomorrow’s solar eclipse might be representing, but in reality, there are only two certainties concerning this eclipse. First, all we really know with 100% certainty is this eclipse is just that, a solar eclipse. Second, this solar eclipse has the attention of the entire world; perhaps even more so than the 2014/2015 Blood Moon events. So, if there is a specific meaning or message within the eclipse, it will be revealed to the entire world.

With that said, there is another very credible threat that has formed alongside the solar eclipse, and that is the threat of a potential catastrophic earthquakes. To understand how earthquakes are created, one must first understand the Roche Limit.  The Roche limit, also called Roche radius, is the distance from a celestial body within which a second celestial body, held together only by its own force of gravity, will disintegrate because the first body’s tidal forces exceed the second body’s self-gravitation. There is more than ample evidence that the orbit of Mars at one time came much closer to Earth than it does today. During these close flyby’s, the Roche Limit was breached causing catastrophic events between Mars and Earth. The orbit of Mars may have been altered by the explosion of the 5th planet Rahab (Psalm 89:10); perhaps a topic for a future post. There is an enormous amount of unexplained destruction within our solar system.

Not getting off topic, when the planets line up in our solar system, they are not exceeding the Roche Limit, but rather their combined gravitational pull on the earth is what causes earthquakes. The more planets in alignment, which includes the Sun and Moon, the more powerful the potential earthquake. Below is a picture of planetary alignment for April 9th -11th. All of the largest earthquakes since 1960 happened after the convergence of three planetary alignments. The solar eclipse by itself is not really condemning, however when it occurs within the timeframe of the planetary alignments, then it becomes critical. Notice the moon alignment between the Sun and Earth.

Furthermore, atmospheric fluctuations have now occurred over the infamous Madrid Fault line. From the SSGEOS website: “The SSGEOS measures electric charge in the atmosphere near sea level to detect anomalies that may be seismic related. Anomalies are linked with Earth’s axis-rotation and the plane of the ecliptic, which is the thin red line drawn over the globe. Potential regions are marked with purple and are approximations”. The locations of atmospheric fluctuations are used to pinpoint the regions of greater potential threat during the planetary alignments. Fluctuations of April 6th.

Be safe; stay alert and most importantly, remember: “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” Jos 1:9.

Red Heifer Update April 2024

A major hurdle to initiating the Red Heifer sacrifice has been met. The Temple Institiute has announced it has found a Kosher Kohen; that is, a priest that meets all of the very strict Jewish requirements to perform the ritual.

This short video is very informative. Folks, we are one step closer to the coming of the Lord.  Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the moreas ye see the day approaching Hebrews 10:25.

A Kosher Kohen had been found for the RED HEIFER CEREMONY!

He Is Risen

And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said.

Aleph & the Solar Eclipse Part 2.

Originally published in October of last year, there is some new information come to light. We are now 40 days out from the 3rd and final solar eclipse on April 8th to cross America.

Originally, I wrote, While not exactly 7 years, the trio of eclipse does happen over a 7-year period. Perhaps a stretch, but intriguing, nonetheless.”. I took this a step further and counted the actual number of days between the first eclipse and the final. The sum total is 2422 days. This number can be divided evenly by 7!

The first eclipse passed over 7 cities in the U.S. called Salem. In the Bible, Salem means “Peace”.

Salem, Oregon -Salem, Idaho -Salem, Wyoming -Salem, Nebraska -Salem, Missouri -Salem, Kentucky -Salem, South Carolina

The final eclipse will cross 7 cities called Nineveh. In the Bible, Nineveh means “abode of Ninus”. Nineveh was capital of the ancient kingdom of Assyria, the enemies of Israel. Around 760 B.C., God sent the Prophet Jonah to prophecy in Nineveh His judgment was coming unless they repented. It is interesting that it took Jonah 3 days to traverse the city of Nineveh announcing the coming judgment. There are 3 eclipses. Nineveh chose in this instance to heed the words of Jonah and repented, so God spared them. Later, the Prophet Nahum prophesied the complete destruction of Nineveh. The prophecy took place in 612 B.C. or 147 years after Jonah; another number evenly divided by 7.

Nineveh, Texas -Nineveh, Missouri -Nineveh, Indiana -Nineveh, Ohio -Nineveh, Pennsylvania -Nineveh, Virginia -Nineveh, New York

The total travel for Jonah to Nineveh was about 700 miles according to this article. https://stephenmillerbooks.com/mapping-jonahs-story/

Using Google Earth, I charted each of the eclipse and totaled 6493 miles. However, using a straight line does not account for the curvature of the eclipse path. I am willing to bet the total distance would be 7,000 miles if one could calculate the exact distance.

What will the verdict be? Will America repent and be spared or will she face her immediate doom. I will always take the route of blessing rather than curse and say since the first eclipse covered Salem (peace), then America will repent as Nineveh did the first time and be spared until another day. One thing is certain as I have stated before, 2024 is the decision year. Let us pray it is blessing and not a curse.

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Titus 2:13

On October 14th 0f 2023, exactly 7 days after the start of the recent Hamas attack on Israel, the 2nd of a Trio of Solar Eclipse will cross the continental United States. The first one was on August 21, 2017 and the final one will be April the 8th, 2024. Prior to the 2017 eclipse, the U.S. had not seen a coast-to-coast eclipse since 1918. During that year the German government sent a message to American president Woodrow Wilson to negotiate terms on the basis of a recent speech of his entitled “Fourteen Points“, which later became the basis of the German surrender of World War 1 at the Paris Peace Conference, which took place the following year.

Solar Eclipse

As you can see from the picture, the 3 eclipse will create a Phoenician Aleph, the first or beginning letter of the Phoenician Alphabet over the U.S. Notice the eclipse of 2017 and 2024 cross on the Madrid fault line just under St. Louis, Missouri that absolutely has the potential to create a catastrophic earthquake. Also notice the eclipse of 2017 crosses over the Yellowstone Caldera or Supervolacano. Both the Supervolcano and the Madrid fault line earthquake would be cataclysmic and could easily trigger the other at execution. The Jewish tradition tells us that a solar eclipse is a bad omen for the entire world, but clearly this Trio is aimed at the U.S. What does the Trio of eclipse mean? Perhaps this is the beginning of something to come.

Some have equated the eclipse to represent the Hebrew Aleph. Below are the Hebrew and Phoenician Aleph compared. The Phoenician Aleph is to the right.

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: Gen. 1:14

While not exactly 7 years, the trio of eclipse does happen over a 7-year period. Perhaps a stretch, but intriguing, nonetheless.

For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. Gen. 7:4
