If you are a Christian reading this post, you should recognize out of the 6,000 years since the creation of Adam, God has chosen your soul to live at such a time as this. He has placed you at the end of the age of grace for a reason. What will you do with the time He has given you?
As we race towards the end of 2023, one can only begin to imagine what 2024 shall bring for the U.S. and the world. All western governments have turned against its citizens. Perhaps as a presidential election year, it will be the most challenging year yet. We saw what happened in 2020 and the enemy certainly will not back down for this election. Had Hillary gotten in for the 2016 election, the enemy would have been on a fast-track to bring in their plans for the fall of this country. For unlike Biden, Hillary can think for herself. But thankfully God intervened and the one everybody was laughing at, got elected.
Let us not forget that the final judgment is the judgment of God, not of man. God will roll it out on His timeline and no others. Many people seem to confuse that fact today which in turn leads to false assumptions of the Tribulational period. It is the “Lamb” that opens the 7-sealed book which also contains within the 7-trumpets, the 7-vials, and the 7-thunders completing the judgements up to Armageddon – the ultimate judgement.
And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? 3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. 4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. 5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. 6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. 7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. 8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. 9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; Rev. 5:1-9
Israel is posed to slaughter the Red Heifer during Passover of 2024 and use the ashes to cleanse the way for a new temple. What shaking will that cause? Most likely, continued wars for them. We have seen firsthand the division around the world for and against the nation of Israel since the beginning of the Hamas war. It will only get worse eventually leading to, “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem” Zech. 12:2. Let us not forget that Israel is God’s prophetic time clock. The events of that nation alone provide the most telling position the world is in on His time clock.
Will God intervene again in 2024’s election? Let us pray that He does. It will certainly help to have the right candidate in office, but regardless of who gets in, Jesus and Jesus alone is the only answer. How will you respond to what happens this coming year. What decisions as a Christian will you make to stand, deny, or accept what may come? How will you witness to those around you?
God is the only one that can break the devil’s yoke over this country. But it is only through our prayers and pleas, “….The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” James 5:16. We would also be wise to harken the wisdom of this verse, “A wise man scaleth the city of the mighty, and casteth down the strength of the confidence thereof” Proverbs 21:22. Let us believe, “It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law” Psa. 119:126
