The Root of all Evil

The bible say’s “For the love of money is the root of all evil:” 1Ti 6:10. From that verse we can derive that the foundation of all evil stems from the love of money or merchandise, traffic, and trade.

The word “evil” is mentioned in 60 of the 66 books for an exact total of 613 times which also happens to be the exact number of commandments from the Mosaic law. Concerning the law, Paul says “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin” Rom 3:20

In Gen 2:9 we have the first use of the word evil: “And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil“. God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat from this tree, but clearly they had a “love” for the merchandise of that tree and ate of the fruit.

All evil is sin, but not all sin is necessarily evil. Sin is to violate a revealed divine truth from the word of God or to not apply a revealed divine truth from the word of God, while evil is a system of thinking that opposes divine truth in belief and behavior. The serpent in the garden convinced Eve into thinking that knowing good and evil and having her eyes open was better than the divine truth from Almighty God. Since the tree of knowledge of good and evil already existed in the time of Adam and Eve, they could not have been the first to oppose divine truth in thought and behavior. Is it possible to trace back to the original act of evil?

Nowhere in the bible is there an evil example of thinking that opposes divine truth better portrayed than what we see in Isaiah with the fall of the Cherub known as Lucifer (Satan). 

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High Is. 14:12-14.

The anointed cherub, leader of the other cherub and angels, was perfect until iniquity or unrighteousness was found in him and the “love” of merchandise caused him to sin. 

14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. 16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of

. 17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. 18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee Ez. 28

Not only was Lucifer the leader among the angels and cherub, but he was also the high priest as he had sanctuaries where the angels and cherub worshiped Almighty God, but his thought process of opposing divine truth and his greed for power and love of “money” created iniquity in him leading to his fall from the highest position in the universe under Almighty God, Possessor of Heaven and Earth.

Today is no different. The accumulation of vast wealth and power causes one to think it is their key to being untouchable. In these final days, the “love of money” is what moves the grand scheme of the enemy.

The definition of evil (to oppose divine truth) is summarized well by Jesus in the book of John chapter 8:

42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45  And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. 46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? 47 He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

God say’s the riches belong to him and that they are no safe haven in the day of His Wrath. 

Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land. Zep 1:18

The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. Hag 2:8

How do you view what God has given you? Are you a wise steward of what you have been given? One must choose between God and money lest the latter corrupt you to evil in opposing divine truth.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon Mat 6:24

MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT

The bible speaks of a one world religion during the Tribulation – one that we can see forming today.

And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. Rev. 13:11-12

This second beast from the earth is the False Prophet whom causes the worship of the first beast. The False Prophet will most likely be one of the leaders of the latter day Babylon system that we can also see forming today.

And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. Rev. 17:4-5

Just as Nimrod wanted to replace God and be worshiped, the religions that fall under the future Babylonian system all have one thing in common – replacement theology / supersessionism. That is to say that the church has replaced Israel as God’s people and that God does not have any specific future plans for the Jewish people.

These religious groups include Eastern Orthodoxy, Islam, some Protestant groups, and the Catholic church based in Rome. Islam is not considered part of the church, but it believes they are the chosen people of God beginning with Ishmael, son of Abraham.

The bible calls the Tribulation period the time of Jacob’s trouble. “Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. Jer 30:7. 

Jacob’s name was later changed by God to Israel. The Tribulation period is all about the people of Israel and if you subscribe to the church going through the Tribulation, then you are subscribing to replacement theology / supersessionism.

And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel. Gen 35:10

Fulness of the Gentiles

Is the age of the gospel of grace coming to an end, when “blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in” Rom 11:25?

While the majority of Israel rejected Christ at His first coming, many of the Jewish people were saved. “And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem”. Luk 24:47

The gospel, started in Jerusalem, was commanded to be taken to all the world. “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Act 1:8

After Peter’s first sermon on the day of Pentecost, three thousand Jews were saved. “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls“. Act 2:41. Today, the gospel has come full circle making its way back into Jerusalem where many Jewish people are coming to Christ.

So some of the Jews were saved during the first years of the Gospel of Grace, but soon afterward destruction came upon Israel with the demolishing of the temple and slaughter of over 1 million by the Roman army. Are we seeing a repeat of history now in the land of Israel?

It does not take much for one to see that the world has fallen away from God and biblical principals, The U.S., once the moral beacon of the world and perhaps one of the greatest resources for spreading the gospel around the world since its beginning, has fallen the most in such a short period of time.

In Genesis we see that God is furious with all except Noah and his family concerning what had happened on earth in regards to the fallen angels mating with women and He gives a set time before the coming destruction of the great flood.

And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. Gen 6:3

One cannot help but wonder when looking at the timeline below:

  • May 31st – June 4th, 2017 – Pentecost – Christians know it as the day the Church started. According to Jewish tradition, Pentecost commemorates God’s giving of the Ten Commandments at Mount Sinai, 49 days after the Exodus.”The special  Offering  of  the  Wave-Sheaf  of  Firstfruits  during the  Passover  or  Feast  of Unleavened Bread is actually the prelude  to Pentecost with its own special Offering.  From the time of the Offering of these Firstfruits waved before the Lord, the Jewish people were to count 50 days till the Feast of Pentecost. This counting consisted of “seven weeks” (49 days) and then on the next day (the 50th day) the celebration would take place. These two special Offerings are, therefore, vitally connected.The Firstfruits Offering at Passover was a sampling of the full spring harvest to be celebrated 50 days later at Pentecost (Lev. 23:9-16) and exemplified by the special wave Offering of two loaves of bread in the same manner as the Wave-Sheaf”. It is the only Jewish holiday that does not have a “set” date. It is also interesting to note that the Levite priest were commanded to preach until the age of 50.   • July 4th, 2017 – America completes its’ 240th year (120 + 120 a double blessing Genesis 6:3) as a country.
  • September 20th, 5777 (2017) – Last day for the Jewish year 5777.
  • September 23rd, 2017 – The Great sign of Revelation 12 – there is a wide range of opinion out there on what this means, but it is clear the stars and planets will align on that day to depict Revelation 12.

The church will not go through the Tribulation as many today are saying. The church is the collective body of Christ beginning with Pentecost until the Rapture. Clearly the church cannot go through it as Christ will not separate part of His body through it. Do not let the spirit of the Antichrist deceive you.

Making way for the “Kings of the East”

This event happens towards the end of the 7 year Tribulation, but clearly we see the making of it now, so the question is “how much closer are we to the beginning….”

And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. Rev 16:12

Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. Rev 9:14

And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. Rev. 9:15-16

Swarms of snakes are attacking people and cattle in southern Iraq as the Euphrates and Tigris rivers dry up and the reptiles lose their natural habitat among the reed beds…..

The collapse in the water levels of the rivers has been swift, the amount of water in the Euphrates falling by three-quarters in less than a decade. In 2000, the flow speed of the water in the river was 950 cubic metres per second, but by this year it had dropped to 230 cubic metres per second.

In the past, Iraq has stored water in lakes behind its own dams, but these reservoirs are now much depleted and can no longer make up the shortfall. The total water reserves behind all Iraqi dams at the beginning of May was only 11 billion cubic metres, compared to over 40 billion three years ago. One of the biggest dams in the country, on the Euphrates at Haditha in western Iraq, close to the Syrian border, held eight billion cubic metres two years ago but now has only two billion.

The Tower of Syene

There is no shortage today of articles outlining the burgeoning relationship between Egypt and Israel. It seems the two countries have manufactured a lasting relationship. Here are some articles:

Egypt’s president has urged Israel and the Palestinians to look to the “wonderful” example set by his country and the Jewish state and agree on a solution that lets them exist in peace as two neighboring states. Speaking Tuesday to the UN General Assembly, President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi described the Israel-Egypt model as “a real opportunity to write a bright page in the history of our region to move towards peace.”

Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi applauded the level of cooperation between Israel and Egypt in a closed-door meeting with Jewish leaders in New York on Tuesday.

THE EGYPTIAN foreign minister brought a breath of fresh air to the decades-long Arab-Israeli conflict when he stated unequivocally on August 21 that Israel could not be considered a terrorist state. This further step toward closer relations between Egypt and Israel resonated throughout the Arab world, where accusing the Jewish state of terror against the Palestinians is a basic propaganda tenet.

Considerable evidence suggests that relations between Egypt and Israel have steadily developed during the past two years and that they may be in the process of shifting from conventional cooperation to the level of strategic alliance. Foremost evidence is the following:

Sisi’s New Approach to Egypt-Israel Relations Cairo believes that relations with Israel are strategically and diplomatically beneficial, and the trend toward greater rapprochement will likely continue.

But as previously mentioned, it only seems that way. We know the opposite will happen as the Bible tells us so. Ezekiel 29 outlines a prophecy against Egypt for breaking their fellowship and support of Israel and involves the Tower of Syene that resides next to the Aswan Dam.

And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel. When they took hold of thee by thy hand, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou brakest, and madest all their loins to be at a stand. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee. And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the LORD: because he hath said, The river is mine, and I have made it. Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia. Ez.29

Recently Israel appointed a new ambassador to Egypt. “Israel’s new ambassador to Egypt, David Govrin, on Wednesday presented his credentials to President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi at his palace in Cairo, enabling him to begin officially contacting Egyptian government officials in his capacity as a diplomatic representative.”

David Govrin is the 13th (rebellion) ambassador to Egypt since the signing of the peace treaty in 1979. More importantly, in a little over 2 years, we will arrive at the 40th year anniversary of the Egypt–Israel Peace Treaty that was signed 26 March 1979. Forty is a period of testing whether it be in years or days. The question is, will Egypt pass the test….not according to what the scripture says. It is also worth pointing out that God will make the land desolate for 40 years due to their betrayal; well into the Millennial Kingdom reign.

No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years. And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries. Yet thus saith the Lord GOD; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered: And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom. It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations. And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which bringeth their iniquity to remembrance, when they shall look after them: but they shall know that I am the Lord GOD. Ez 29.

Is this a prophecy that will be fulfilled before the Tribulation? The Lord say’s “I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.” This speaks to a humanitarian aid effort, for who will help them once the Tribulation has started? 

Should we see this prophecy unfold before March 26, 2019…the world will never recover, the Egyptians will be scattered around the world from the devastation created by the flood of the broken dam, and Israel will be in various wars until the signing of the deceptive peace treaty with the Antichrist. As always, time will tell.

THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS

The recent world day of prayer for “peace” in Assisi, Italy with the Pope included representatives from 9 different religions. The 3 short videos reveal a snapshot of the coming MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH Rev 17:5. Incidentally, perhaps it is no coincidence that 9 different religions gathered here, as 9 is the biblical number for Judgment….

But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. Mat. 10:33-34
